Punanga Nui Markets

Saturday is market day at the Punanga Nui Market, located beside Rarotonga Wharf in Avarua town. The Market is open from 6am to about 12.00 noon. The vibrant marketplace offers a wide range of fresh local produce, cooked food & treats, drinking coconuts, arts, jewellery, carvings, handicrafts, T-shirts, CDs and pareus, and bands often perform live.
